年末是許多人計畫出遊的時刻，特別是最近日圓貶值，英鎊更在脫歐後無上漲跡象，趁這時候去日本或歐洲遊玩正是時候！不過，在國外shopping時才發現現金不夠，豈不是太掃興了？「What a bummer, right?」
今天要教大家的換匯英語對話，包準能用最快的速度換到採購的現金，繼續大buy 特buy！
Counter staff: How may I help you, sir (ma’am)?
櫃台人員：先生／小姐，您需要什麼協助呢？
Traveler: I would like to change some US dollars into pounds, please.
旅客：我想把美金換成英鎊。
當說明想把A幣值換成B幣值時，可使用change A into B的句型。
舉例，我想把台幣換成日圓，便可說：
I would like to change Taiwanese dollars into Japanese yen.
通常在國外幾乎所有換匯中心都不接受台幣，因此要用台幣換匯最好還是在出國前查好匯率較優惠的銀行，才能在出國前成功用台幣換匯。
接著，櫃台人員會問你需要換多少現金，最好先確認一下目前的（current）換匯匯率（exchange rate）再評估自己能換取多少現金。用過去式Could you開頭會比Can you語氣禮貌許多，對話如下：
Counter staff: How much would you like to change?
櫃台人員：您需要換多少錢呢？
Traveler: Could you tell me what the current exchange rate is?
旅客：可以請您說明一下現在的匯率嗎？
Counter staff: Sure. It’s 1.25 US dollars to the pound.
櫃台人員：當然可以，現在1.25美金可換一英鎊。
多人會說「Could you tell me what is the current exchange rate?」這是不正確的。Could you tell me本身已經是個問句，問句裡出現的第二個問句what is the current exchange rate應為間接問句，因此必須倒裝為what the current exchange rate is才是正確用法。
櫃台人員提到1.25 US dollars to the pound是用to這個介係詞表示「換成」。比如說現在大約是0.28台幣換成一元日幣，便可說It’s 0.28 Taiwanese dollars to one yen.
有些換匯中心會額外收取（charge）手續費（commission），所以要事先確認！
Traveler: Do you charge a commission?
旅客：你們會額外收手續費嗎？
Counter staff: No, we don’t.
櫃台人員：不會。
Traveler: If that’s the case, I would like to change 500 pounds.
旅客：若是這樣的話，我要換500英鎊。
Counter staff: Ok, that makes 625 US dollars.
櫃台人員：好的，這樣是625元美金。
在提供現金前，櫃台人員還會向你確認換取的面額，你可以選擇換成大鈔（large bills），或換成較方便旅行使用的小面額（small bills），他會這樣問：
Counter staff: How would you like your pounds?
櫃台人員：您想要怎麼換您的英鎊呢？
Traveler: Can I have six fifties and twenty tens?
旅客：能幫我換6張50元和20張10元嗎？
在這裡可直接將需要的張數放前面、鈔票面額放後面，例如我要15張20元鈔票，就會是I need fifteen twenties，最後只要確定清點金額是否正確，換匯就大功告成囉！
