不知道你有沒有注意到過英國人開口閉口都是"Sorry"?
有時候明明不是他們的錯，卻一開口就先來句"I am sorry...."
英國是個非常重禮儀的國家，而且英國人也都以此為傲。
今天John Papa就來帶大家了解到底為什麼英國人這麼喜歡"道歉"呢~
英國是個非常重禮儀的國家，而且英國人也都以此為傲。
"Sorry"這個字我們可以簡單地把它分為兩種用法：
1. 因為對方的遭遇而感到惋惜所用。
一般任何人聽到對方不幸的遭遇都會表達：
"Oh, I am so sorry to hear that!"
"I feel sorry for you."
"I am sorry that has happened to you..."
2. 因為自己做了什麼事情而感到後悔時所用。
"I am sorry, I was wrong."
"I am sorry for being inconsiderate."
"I am sorry that I couldn't attend yesterday."
以上都是常見的狀況，但是對英國人就不只這些了...
3. 詢問前先道歉
"I am sorry to bother you, do you know..."
"Sorry sir, may I have a moment with you?"
"I am terribly sorry madam, could you please help me with this?"
概念是因為要打擾到別人，所以要先說"Sorry~"
4. 不是我的錯也先道歉
"I am so sorry! The weather today isn't quite what I was expecting."
"I am sorry, didn't you see the No-smoking sign on the wall?"
"I am very sorry sir, this is my private garden, not a public park."
這裡的"Sorry"有時候只是禮貌上說，但是說的人可能一點都不覺得有什麼好抱歉的喔！
看完上面所說的就可以了解到，英國人根本是把"Sorry"當成了口頭禪一樣了嘛。
所以說想融入英國的文化，記得要把"Sorry"掛嘴邊喔！
